To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she will investigate the ongoing payment issue pertaining to the construction of additional accommodation or a new school building for a school (details supplied); if she is aware that construction has been halted for two weeks due to the building contractor not receiving all stage payments from her Department; when the necessary funding will be released to allow construction to resume; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the issue highlighted at the school in question has now been resolved.

My Department has liaised with both the school and the contractor and the contractor has agreed to resume works onsite imminently.
