As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the oncology step-down area in Ennis General Hospital; the number of additional whole-time equivalent posts that will be needed to resource the unit; the estimated capital investment for the budget in 2022; the estimated current investment for 2022; the projected timeline for the service being on stream; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
