894. To ask the Minister for Health the status of a competition (details supplied) which was due to go out to public tender in 2017; the progress in relation to the tender; when it will be published or retendered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16440/21]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

To ask the Minister for Health the reason a tender (details supplied) which was due to go out to public tender in 2017 has been extended each year since, with a further extension until May 2021; the way this was allowed to occur in the years before Covid-19; when the competition will go back out to public tender; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
