As I advised the House in response to Parliamentary Question number 1235 of 15th January, my Department received two complaints in relation to the Department's operations during 2017 and that a further three such complaints were received during 2018. Two of these complaints were subsequently referred to the Office of the Ombudsman. I am advised that in each case, the matters raised have been addressed and brought to a conclusion.

I am further advised that no complaints in relation to the Department's operations have been received to date in 2019.

My Department remains committed to advancing the principles of Quality Customer Service and achieving ongoing improvement in the delivery of its services.
