Following the advertisement of a post of Consultant Oncologist with a special interest in Sarcoma, a successful candidate was identified and an offer of appointment was made. However, the hospital has been advised that the person involved is not in a position to take up the post until summer 2019.

Meanwhile, specialist care of patients with sarcoma will continue to be provided through a multi-disciplinary team approach.
