On receipt of additional medical evidence submitted in support of the appeal of the person concerned, a review of the claim was carried out by a deciding officer and she has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 03 May 2018.  As a result the appeal is no longer necessary.

Payment issued to her nominated bank account on 15 November 2018.  Any arrears due  from 03 May 2018 to 14 November 2018 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue in due course.  The lady in question was notified of this decision on 31 October 2018.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
