To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the status of investigations by An Garda Síochána into alleged death threats made over the telephone against the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources on 18 October 2006; the number of statements that were taken by An Garda Síochána relating to this case; the number of persons who provided these statements; the number of persons who were questioned regarding their potential or constructive knowledge of the incident; if a file was sent to the DPP on this case; the prosecutions that arose in this case; the convictions that came as a result of this case; the current status of the investigation into this incident; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
