In addition, under the Gaeltacht Summer Camps scheme, local branches of Conradh na Gaeilge availed of funding from my Department to hold summer camps at various Gaeltacht locations. Administration of that scheme has transferred to Údarás na Gaeltachta since 2015.
Conradh na Gaeilge also receives annual funding directly from Foras na Gaeilge following its selection, with effect from 1 July 2014, as the lead organisation with responsibility for awareness raising, language protection and representation on an all-island basis. Prior to 2014, Conradh na Gaeilge was in receipt of core funding directly from Foras na Gaeilge.
