I assume the Deputy is referring to scholarships provided to assist primary and secondary school students to attend Irish colleges in the Gaeltacht during the summer. My Department does not grant such assistance directly to students. However, I am aware that scholarships are provided from time to time by various Irish language, cultural and sporting organisations, as well as several local authorities. I am also informed that some of the Irish colleges themselves offer part-scholarships. Details regarding Irish colleges can be obtained from the umbrella organisation CONCOS at .
