The Clonakilty Agricultural College locally known as Darrara College is run and maintained by Teagasc.

A Department of Agriculture office in Clonakilty has been vacated in 2014. The property is secured and maintained to an acceptable standard by the Office of Public Works and this will continue pending a decision on its future use.
