I have referred the correspondence supplied by the Deputy to the Garda authorities and asked that it be given appropriate consideration and attention.

I might add that other related correspondence from the person in question has been referred by my Department for consideration under the mechanism established for the independent review of certain allegations against An Garda Síochána. In the circumstances, I do not consider that a meeting of the kind suggested would be appropriate at this stage.
