The following table outlines the information requested by the Deputy.

The Third Level Courses figure relates to Refund of Fees. Refund of Fees are approved under the terms of the Department of Finance circular whereby Officers undertake courses of study in their own time at recognised third level institutions. Courses are currently funded by my Department in the areas of Business Studies, Training and Education, Project Management, Policy Analysis, Payroll Management and Public Management. Training Programmes and Courses in my Department include Health and Safety in the Workplace, Legislative Process, Administrative Law, Information Technology Training, Soft Skills training and Financial Management. My Department is committed to Training and Development, and is at all times conscious of maximising value for money.
