574. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of complaints received by the National Transport Agency in 2010, 2011 and 2012 in relation to rail passenger rights; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39466/13]

The enforcement of EU Regulation 1371/2007 on rail passenger rights and obligations is a matter for the National Transport Authority. I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the authority for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
