Horse Racing Ireland and Bord na gCon are commercial state bodies established under statute. Questions regarding the loan facilities both organisations have in place and the extent to which these have been drawn down are operational matters for the organisation concerned. The extent of the indebtedness of each organisation changes from day-to-day. The annual report and accounts of Bord na gCon and Horse Racing Ireland, which are laid before both Houses, contain information regarding outstanding borrowings. The Deputy should contact Bord na gCon or Horse Racing Ireland, as appropriate, if he is seeking any further information on this matter.
