Question 414: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government he will consider an amendment to the Building Control Act 2007 to allow the inclusion of a Grandfather clause in the legislation to facilitate architects who are not members of the RIAI; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 354, 356, 363 and 390 of 21 March 2012 which sets out the position on this matter. I have no plans to amend the Building Control Act 2007 along the lines suggested.
