Question 117: To ask the Taoiseach if he will provide the total amount each Minister, junior Minister and senior civil servant has spent on entertainment expenses since being appointed in the case of the Ministers and junior Ministers and in the calendar year of 2011 with regards to senior civil servants. The following table details the amount spent by my Department on entertainment expenses on behalf of the Government Chief Whip, Minister of State for European Affairs and myself from March to December 2011, and in respect of the full calendar year for Senior Civil Servants assigned to my Department. The majority of the expenditure was in respect of visiting international delegations.
All expenditure is in line with the entertainment guidelines set down by the Department of Finance.
