Question 838: To ask the Minister for Health if he has considered amending the medical card criteria for self employed applicants who cannot provide an up to date tax assessment because of the level of their debts; in cases in which they are working with the Sheriff to settle their tax liabilities that a letter to that effect would suffice; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
