The person named commenced REPS 4 in May 2009 and received payments for the first year of their contract. In addition 75% of the second year payment issued on 21st April 2011 for the amount of €5818.20. Following an inspection on 22nd June 2010, a clawback was imposed as a result of a discrepancy in the amount of land drawn down for payment under a particular measure under the scheme which resulted in a delay in processing the payment of the 25% balancing payment for the second year.
My Department has commenced processing the outstanding 25% payments to farmers in instances where penalties have been imposed and I expect that the person named will shortly be paid the outstanding amount.
