Question 146: To ask the Minister for Health and Children his plans to appoint a specialist paediatric nurse in endocrinology at Letterkenny General Hospital, County Donegal, to provide a service to the approximately 135 paediatric diabetic patients attending the hospital in view of the recommendation of the 2008 diabetes expert advisory group that there should be one such nurse for each 100 patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
