As the Deputy may be aware, functions in relation to islands that were previously vested in me, as Minister with responsibility for the Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs, have transferred by Order to the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht with effect from 1 May 2011. Accordingly, I have requested the Minister to communicate directly with the Deputy in relation to the matter raised in the Question.
