Question 353: To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the details of all permanent Civil Service or non-established positions in his Department which consist of assisting Ministers with constituency work; the monthly salaries for these positions; and if any further appointments are envisaged. There are currently two permanent and two non-established staff engaged on constituency work on my behalf. Details requested are outlined in the table below:

The Minister of State at my Department currently has three non-established staff (two of whom are work-sharing in one post) engaged in constituency work. Details requested are outlined in the table below:

It is envisaged that a third post will be filled in the Minister of State's Constituency Office, bringing the staff complement to three, the number allowable under current Department of Finance staffing guidelines for such offices.
