Child Benefit payments were suspended when the customer notified the Department that her Child had left the State. Correspondence issued to the customer on 26 th August 2010 requesting documentary evidence of when the child left and confirmation of employment in Ireland. The customer did not respond. A follow up letter will now issue to the customer in view of this enquiry.

Question 273: To ask the Minister for Social Protection when rent support will be awarded in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34382/10]

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has advised that the person concerned is in receipt of his full entitlement to rent supplement based on his income and family circumstances. If the person concerned has any further queries regarding his rent supplement he should contact the HSE at his local health centre.
