In view of the transfer of responsibility for the "Family" to the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs, a name change was necessary. The Department is not yet in a position to assess the full requirements and implications of the change of name of the Department in relation to the changes in signage, stationery etc. A full assessment of the requirements is underway with a view to the keeping the costs involved to a minimum. Any suggestions from the Deputy as to how this may be done would be welcome.
