The Citizens Information Board (CIB), under the aegis of the Department of Social and Family Affairs, is responsible for supporting the provision of information, advice, and advocacy on a wide range of public and social services. Advocacy services are provided through a Community and Voluntary programme involving 46 projects which focuses on representative advocacy for people with disabilities. The Board has a grant allocation of €45.87m in 2010.
