I refer the Deputy to my reply of the 25th March last, where I provided a range of figures of the nature sought. I am advised by the Director General of the Irish Prison Service that full year statistics for 2009 are currently being finalised for inclusion in the 2009 Annual Report of the Irish Prison Service. I expect to receive the 2009 Annual Report in the coming weeks whereupon the additional material requested by the Deputy will be provided.
