Question 510: To ask the Minister for Transport the situation regarding the provision of the coastguard station at Doolin in County Clare; if the €1.5 million remains ring fenced for this project; when he expects this project to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 502 and 510 together.

As per normal public service procedure monies are not ringfenced prior to planning permission being obtained. An application for planning permission for a coastguard station at Doolin in County Clare will be made shortly.
