Question 130: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has received pre-budget submissions from an organisation (details supplied); the action she plans to take to address the issue of this sector which is under threat due to the high cost base here and the fall off in tourism; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have received a number of pre-budget submissions from various business organisations and representative groups, including the Restaurants Association of Ireland. I have noted the contents of all of these submissions and will give consideration to the proposals in the context of the pre-budget deliberations with my Government colleagues.
