The powers and duties delegated to Minister Killeen are set out in the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Delegation of Ministerial Functions (No. 4) Order 2008 (S.I. No. 292 of 2008). They relate to the areas of: Animal Health and Welfare, T.B. Eradication Programme, Brucellosis Eradication Programme, Bovine Tagging and Registration, National Beef Assurance Scheme, Forestry and fisheries

The powers and duties delegated to Minister Sargent are set out in the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Delegation of Ministerial Functions)(No.5) Order 2008 (S.I. No. 293 of 2008). They relate to the areas of: Development of the Food Industry, Monitoring of the Food Industry under the National Development Plan, Local Slaughter Houses, Livestock Breeding, Horticulture/Plant Health/Organic Production, Animal Feedingstuffs and the Early Retirement Scheme.
