I propose to take Questions Nos. 268 and 269 together.

In the past twelve months I have made a number of regulations which transpose, either partially or completely, a range of EU environmental directives details of which are set out in Table 1 below.

There are currently four Directives in my Department's area of responsibility, which are outstanding for transposition. A further three Directives are due for transposition between January 2009 and June 2010. Details of these Directives are set out in Table 2 below. My Department is working to ensure the comprehensive transposition of these Directives.
