Question 293: To ask the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if he will list and number the pilot schemes or projects that are being funded, overseen, or in any way supported by his Department; the purpose of each project; the start up date of each project; the time-scale for each project; the projected completion date for each project; the date that a report evaluating the project will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, my Department operates a wide range of programmes, measures and schemes and provides funding and support to many projects, pilot schemes and pilot projects. Details of all the programmes and schemes operated by my Department can be found on my Department's website at www.pobail.ie.
Given the significant amount of pilot projects and initiatives funded and supported by my Department, it would not be feasible to readily compile the wide data relating to such projects that the Deputy has requested.
If, however, the Deputy is interested in seeking information on a specific project, pilot scheme or pilot project funded by my Department, I will arrange for that information to be provided to him as soon as possible.
