The annual allocations under the School Building and Modernisation Programme are set out on a financial year basis rather than on the school year. The outturn for the years 2004 to 2006 was as follows:

2004 — €333m.

2005 — €501m.

2006 — €494m.

The outturn for 2007 will be in excess of €540m.
