I am informed by the Garda Commissioner that the investigation into the incident referred to is ongoing. The investigation team is based at Tallaght Garda Station and is being assisted by specialist units including the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Garda Technical Bureau. Garda management is satisfied that sufficient resources are allocated to the investigation. They further state that as the investigation is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.
