The recent attacks on PSNI officers are clearly of great concern. I am sure I speak for all Deputies in being thankful that they were not fatal and wishing both officers speedy recoveries.

Counter-terrorism and combating the activities, both terrorist and criminal, of dissident republican groups remain high priorities for An Garda Síochána, in the border areas and throughout the State. Close co-operation with the authorities in Northern Ireland is maintained in this regard.
