Question 317: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the person or body responsible for the determination for health and safety rules and regulations at beauty spots in the countryside, that is lakes, rivers, scenic areas and areas of historical interest in a local authority area of the country; who determines the rules and regulations in such instances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I do not have a function in the determination of safety rules and regulations at beauty spots. Where, however, any of the locations are a 'place of work', the provisions of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, and its associated statutory provisions will apply.
