In accordance with section 22 of the Garda Síochána Act 2005, the formulation of proposals in relation to the opening and closing of Garda stations is a matter, in the first instance, for the Garda Commissioner in the context of the annual policing plan.

I have been informed by the Garda Authorities that they have made no decision regarding additional Garda stations for the Dublin 15 area at this time.
