Question 131: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if her Department has agreed a definition of heath with the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government (details supplied); and if he will provide this definition, if it has now been agreed. [19193/07]

It has been agreed with the National Parks and Wildlife Service that the definition of heath to be used in relation to afforestation applications in proposed hen harrier designated areas should be that as set out in the manual for the Production of Grazing Impact Assessments in Upland and Peat Habitats as produced by Dúchas the National Heritage Service and my Department in January 1999. I have arranged to send a copy of the relevant definition to the Deputy.
