Question 103: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of persons reported missing in 2005; the number who remained untraced at the end of 2005 in view of the fact that according to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 143 of 29 March 2007, those numbers were 4319 and 48, respectively, whereas the Garda Annual Report of 2005 states that 5,997 persons were reported missing in 2005 with 75 persons left untraced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
