I can confirm to the Deputy that the school to which he refers applied to the Department for additional accommodation under the Permanent Accommodation Scheme for 2007. Given the type and extent of accommodation required, it was agreed with the school authority that the scope of its project was not suitable for consideration under this Scheme. The project is now being considered for progress by the traditional method of delivery under the multi-annual School Building and Modernisation Programme. In the meantime, I am pleased to inform the Deputy that approval has been given for a temporary classroom to meet the schools immediate needs.
