Question 140: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if the High Level Manufacturing Group promised in Towards 2016 has been established; if so, if he will outline the membership of the group; if each member is an ex-officio appointment or not and the qualifications of each member; if the group has not yet been established, the reason for the delay in establishing the group; the expected timetable of the group's work; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has initiated discussions on the terms of reference and composition of the High Level Group. The membership of the Group will be determined following consultation with the relevant Social Partnership representatives. I expect the Group to be established before Christmas.
