The Interim Report of the working group was published in July 2006. I have approved the report's recommendation that a further research and investigation project should be undertaken to review all available information, including archaeological assessment and investigations, and to undertake targeted excavation to answer certain specific questions about the site. Tenders for the project are being invited this week and its findings will assist the working group towards its final report in the matter next year.
