I understand from the Office of Public Works that a contract for the refurbishment of the roof of this station was placed recently and the work is expected to be completed by the end of July.

There are also plans to carry out extensive internal works to the station and arrangements will be made soon with the Office of Public Works to prioritise this work. While it is not possible at this point in time to say when this project will commence, the Deputy can be assured that there will be no avoidable delay in addressing the accommodation requirements of the gardaí at the Bridewell Garda station in Cork.
