Question 249: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if there are plans to incorporate into legislation measures to give Irish sign language a status equal to that of spoken languages, as has been done in New Zealand and the UK, among others, and in line with resolutions passed by the European Parliament.
