Question 174: To ask the Minister for Transport the number of tachograph inspections or checks carried out by transport officers from his Department on heavy goods vehicles in 2003, 2004 and 2005; the number of such vehicles found to be in breach of the law in each year; the number of prosecutions which resulted in each year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
