Question 278: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of people who were allocated local authority houses in each county over the past five years, both in urban and county council areas, who subsequently sold their houses and who were then rehoused again by the local authority. The detailed information sought is not available to my Department. It is standard practice where a tenant purchaser sells their house that they would not be subsequently rehoused by the local authority other than in exceptional circumstances.
