I understand that the works specified in condition No. 2 of planning approval 99/121 have not yet been carried out by Kilkenny County Council. The contribution of £47,000, which was subsequently reduced to £30,000, has not yet been paid by my Department. Officials in my Department's school building section are pursuing the matter with Kilkenny County Council. I have arranged for my officials to keep the Deputy advised of developments.
