Services at Beaumont Hospital are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, requested the authority's regional chief executive to investigate the issues raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.

The provision of hospital services for people living in County Mayo is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the board's chief executive officer to investigate this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
