Question 388: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the terms of reference of the survey being conducted by the Irish advocacy group, County Monaghan, for the SEHB; the cost of the survey; the timeframe for its completion; the target group of the survey; if the Kilkenny advocacy group will be included; if its findings will be made public; if the last survey undertaken by the SEHB in relation to the services offered and the views of the general public was completed; the cost of same; if the findings were published; if action was taken on matters arising from that survey; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 387 and 388 together.

Responsibility for the matter referred to by the Deputy rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
