I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications to provide an update on the implementation of the provisions of the Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2022, with regard to the deployment of CCTV and other technologies to address illegal dumping.

Senator Paul Daly - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to allow farmers who installed solar panels under the targeted agricultural modernisation scheme to sell excess energy back to the national grid.

Senator John McGahon- The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the provision of autism spectrum disorder classes in the Dundalk and the north Louth area.

Senator Seán Kyne - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the delivery of a new emergency department at Galway University Hospital.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the current level of podiatry care for older people in west Cork.

Senator Aisling Dolan - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the funding allocation under the recent winter service plan for out-of-hours urgent GP care in the south east Galway and south Roscommon areas.

Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to amend section 12 of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 to prohibit a landlord from making a provision in the lease or tenancy agreement that would prevent a tenant from drying clothes outdoors.

Senator Maria Byrne - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the provision of an elective hospital at St. John's Hospital, Limerick.

Of the matters raised by the Senators that are suitable for discussion, I have selected Senators Malcolm Byrne, Paul Daly, John McGahon and Seán Kyne and they will be taken now.

I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Aisling Dolan on the ground that it is a repeat of a matter raised on 12 October 2022. I regret that I had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Lynn Boylan on the ground that the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
