The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on funding commitments for Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on St. John of God Community Services following notice of termination of its service agreement held with the HSE.

I have also received notice from Senator Fiona O'Loughlin of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the redeployment of 3.5 clinicians to address backlogs in assessments of need, leading to a shortage of occupational, speech and physio therapists for children with disabilities in County Kildare.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. The Cathaoirleach has selected the matters raised by Senators Dolan, Boyhan, O’Loughlin, Ward, Byrne and Ruane and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
