Before I call in the Minister to possibly agree with Senator McDowell, which would be a momentous occasion, I am sure Members of the House will wish to join me in welcoming from Mr. Carmelo Abela, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion of Malta, who is very welcome. He is accompanied by his officials and H.E. Mr. Leonard Sacco, the Maltese ambassador to Ireland, who is also very welcome. On my own behalf and on behalf of all my colleagues in Seanad Éireann, I extend a very warm welcome to all of them and good wishes for a very successful visit to Ireland.
